This year we had a combined birthday party with Kayla, one of Gavin's good friends who I have watched quite a bit over the last couple of years because her dad was in law school. I also watched her brother Zack who is just a little younger than Blake. Blake turned 3 only 4 days before Kayla turned 5 and they have a lot of the same friends and so we decided it would be fun to do their parties together. We had a fun picnic at the park by our house.
We were lucky to have
Nauny (Michelle's mom) and Mimi (Michelle's sister) come for a fun weekend and we were all sad that it went by so fast, but are thankful that they were able to come and see us.
Here is a picture of Zack and Kayla with the boys when they were over a couple weeks ago. They are moving to Colorado next month and it is going to be hard to see them go. These four have spent a lot of time together since Zack and Blake were babies and Kayla and Gavin were toddlers. Gavin says that their dad could just live in their new house and they could stay here.
